About Us
I am originally from Upstate New York in the United States, but I have been living in Canada since the late 1990s. I hold a Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Syracuse University. I was called to the bar in the United States and have been licensed by the Law Society of Ontario since 2002. As an immigration lawyer at My Visa Source, I implement the best strategies to achieve our clients’ immigration objectives. Over the years, I have helped numerous clients achieve success with their business immigration cases, drawing from my extensive experience dealing with almost every type of application.
The practical knowledge gained from these experiences enables me to apply a precise level of balance to the application process. I work closely with the clients, dedicating one on one time to respond to their unique inquiries, communicating about procedural and processing issues related to their cases, and devising a plan of action to overcome challenges involved with an immigration application. My parents were immigrants, with my father immigrating to the United States from Germany and my mother from Chile. Growing up, I learned about their immigration experiences, settling down in a new country, and the cultural differences they encountered. Moreover, when I immigrated to Canada from the United States and closely navigated each step, I gained a deeper understanding of the immigration journey.
